Emilia Gottman, a human-sized sponge puppet, is an 86-year-old woman — young in spirit, full of humor, optimism and creativity.
The diary began in the early Corona days, March 2020, and grew into 130 posts on Facebook and Instagram — short texts, photos and videos shaped by lockdowns, the daily news, holidays celebrated alone, Zoom meetings, the longing for grandchildren and the small moments of joy in between.
Emillia's Theater extends the diary onto the stage — an intimate solo show built around her voice, her memories and her gift for finding light in the smallest moments of daily life.
