The Dream Tailor
Unstitching fear out of a dream — with a button, a thread and boundless imagination.
About the work
FixTwist · Orit Leibovitz Novitch & Revital Grich
Out of a pillow workshop, a sleepy kingdom emerges — Sleepville. Everyone sleeps well and enjoys sweet dreams; only the Sleepy Princess gets nightmares every night, and decides to enter the dream in search of a solution.
Will a round button and a long thread lead her to tailor-made sweet dreams? A visual show of puppets and objects exploring the imaginary space within dreams.
Awarded First Prize for Visual Concept at the Haifa International Children's Theatre Festival, 2013: "Using puppet design, space and an endless stream of objects, the performers create a world filled with magic, tenderness and imagination — a sensual, deep and intimate experience."
